Ways of getting from Dublin city to the Burren Yoga Retreat Centre are recommended in the following order;
- By Car
- By Citylink
- By another bus company
- By Train
By car gives you freedom to explore and bring what you want
Dublin city is between 2.5 and 3.5 hours drive to the centre depending on the time of day or night that you travel and on traffic conditions in Dublin.
It is approx 140 miles, motorway 90% of the way.

The Burren is a very beautiful remote area on the west coast of Ireland, and very often people like to explore somewhere else after the retreat is over.
By Public Transport: Bus is the easiest, fastest and cheapest
Bus is faster than train and much cheaper (€18) there are many more bus times to choose from.
Take the bus from Dublin city into Galway city, and then take a reduced fare taxi from Galway to the centre, or else a second bus from Galway to Gort, and then a taxi from there.

By train is long and expensive and few trains per day
Bus is faster than train and much cheaper (€18) there are many more bus times to choose from.
Catch the Dublin to Galway train, but get off at Athenry station (about 30 miles before Galway).
Wait about 20 minutes, and catch the Limerick train and get off at Gort station.
And then a taxi for the last 6 miles from Gort to Burren Yoga.

If you have extra time and wish to save some money, you may like to consider a bus from Galway to Gort.
