I attended the one week retreat with Karolina as our yoga instructor and Selina as our guide.

The trip was really amazing. The daily excursions meant you really got to see the Burren and we were lucky to get sunshine all week so there was plenty of dips in the sea!

Karolina’s yoga guidance was really exceptional, she brings you carefully through each pose and by the end of the week you definitely feel the difference in your flow whether you are well practiced in yoga or a total beginner.

A few days back from my weekend at the Burren Yoga Centre and I continue to feel the benefits. If you're looking for a break from noise, screens and busyness and appreciate good food, good company and relaxation then this is a great destination for an unforgettable experience. I wasn't sure what to expect travelling alone to the Burren but I'm glad I did and would definitely consider doing so again.

Having arrived at the centre on a Friday evening, I seemed to make new friends almost straight away. The vegetarian food was delicious - like food for the soul as well as the body. Over the course of the weekend on the Boot Camp course with yoga teacher Niamh, I had the opportunity to try vinyasa yoga, meditation, yoga nidra, yogalates and hot yoga. The large light-filled studio was the perfect space, overlooking the Burren. The guided outings and hikes on the Burren were just the right level of challenging and whetted the appetite for a great lunch in one of the many brilliant local seafood bars and a swim later on in the Atlantic.

I really enjoyed my stay in the Burren Yoga Retreat Centre. I appreciated the flexibility for booking because I was not available for the week long retreat but could easily book for the 3 days. The centre is very well organised for adherence to Covid 19 precautions.

There is a lovely atmosphere created by Dave, Louise and all the team looking after our every need. The yoga teacher Niamh Daly went above and beyond the call of duty with wonderful yoga teachings both on and off the mat. I enjoyed the good food, good company, hikes across the Burren and refreshing sea swimming.

The new state of the art yoga studio is well equipped, well ventilated and spacious with spectacular views over the unique Burren landscape. The food was delicious and plentiful. It was my first stay here and I will be back for sure.

Awesome yoga and mindfulness, a rejuvenating & calm environment, lovely day trips, great people, delicious food, all in all a week of serenity and calm, exactly what I needed.

You will leave the Burren Yoga Retreat in a completely different mindset than you arrived. I will be back.

Couldn't recommend this place enough.

My first visit to the Burren Yoga Centre and I loved it. great spacious en suite rooms, with views of fields and trees, free of noise and light pollution.

The yoga studio is simply stunning, glass as far and wide as the eye can see overlooking the Burren.

Classes with Niamh (Jones) - an extraordinary person, made a novice yoga student feel like she had been practising a lot longer. So easy to follow, relaxing to be around, you can definitely gain from her classes. As for food, as a foodie, and a vegetarian, I was very happy with the meals. Dinners by Darren were fantastic, always something fermented on the plate. YUM!!

Would I be back, yes! I was sorry I only spent the weekend and not the week.

You can relax and unwind or engage with others as much as you like. It really is a retreat for everyone

Spent a lovely week at the Burren Yoga Centre in July 2021. Everything was really well organised by David and Selina and there was a good mix of Yoga and daily guided excursions in the unique Burren landscape.

I loved Grainne's Yoga teaching and meditation classes. She connected intuitively with where each person was at in Yoga.

The new Yoga studio overlooking Cappaghmore is beautiful, as is the new ensuite accommodation!

The vegetarian food prepared by Darren was amazing! Met a lovely group of like-minded people. The fantastic weather was an added bonus!

I would definitely recommend the Burren Yoga Centre and I hope to return there in the future

The retreat was thoroughly enjoyable and although it sounds contradictory it was relaxing and active, I think it had just the right balance of activities and relaxation time or 'alone time' for me.

Kathryn is an excellent teacher, I loved her classes and the additional restorative yoga which we had a couple of days also. I left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated, not wanting to return to reality to be honest. It was just what I needed.

Dave and his team are welcoming, friendly and accommodating.

The new centre is fabulous.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Burren Yoga Retreat to anyone. I will certainly return!

My week long retreat at the new centre was really special.

The upgrade and new yoga room are so comfortable and zen-like.

Every details of the retreat is meticulously planned by Dave to ensure it meets the guests expectations, from the days trips, the yoga schedule and the downtime.

Kathryn the yoga teacher was fantastic, Louise expertly ensure everything flowed beautifully.

The food was on another level thanks to Darren's skills, I'd return for the cuisine alone.

A real gem of a place, I could not recommend it enough and I will definitely return soon.

I am so grateful to have stayed at the Burren Yoga Retreat Centre for my first ever yoga retreat. Dave and Louise were always so helpful and I felt so taken care of that I could just let myself relax for the whole week (I even got a massage!). Kathryn was our amazing teacher for the week. Her classes were so enjoyable and flew by. She gave lots of options and allowed you to go at your own pace and explore your own practice. I learned so much from both the classes and spending time with other like-minded people on the retreat.

The centre is set in the Burren, one of the most special places in Ireland. The building itself is so comfortable, clean, and welcoming. It quickly starts to feel like home. Also, I have to say that I’ll be the first in line for Darren the Chef’s cookbook! I have never tasted such a variety of vegetarian/vegan dishes so full of flavour and creativity. What I really liked about the experience was that I didn’t feel much of a divide between staff/teachers/participants.. we all had great fun together, chats, and spent time with each other both at the centre and outdoors. I also never felt pressured to do any classes and knew that I could skip something if I wanted to (it didn’t end up happening, but the option was there!) What can I say only I’m already looking forward to going back
