Booking and Payments

You pay 1/3 of the retreat fee online when you make your booking online.

This will reserve your room, and we will contact you regarding any discount available to you and for payment.

This will reserve your room, and we will contact you regarding any remaining payment.

When you book, you pay 1/3 of the retreat fee which is a non-refundable deposit.

However, if you wish to change your booking more than 21 days before the retreat start date, you may do this if it is the 1st time.

We have been running our retreats for over 20 years and there is no pattern.

It is impossible to predict whether a particular retreat will book our a few months in advance or whether there could be availability 1 week before the retreat start date.

People do cancel or transfer their bookings, so you may be lucky even at the last minute.
You may book by making a bank transfer for the full retreat fee.

Please contact Dave at the centre and he will email you details.

You may change the dates of your booking provided the retreat you have booked is more than 21 days away and this is your 1st time to do this with your booking.

If you cancel your booking more than 21 days before the retreat start date, the non-refundable deposit is forfeit.

If you cancel your booking less than 21 days away, please see the cancellation policy at Terms and Conditions.

If you are making a payment using a non-European credit or debit card, there is a 5% charge to cover the international bank charges.  Or you may pay using a bank transfer.

The Current Government Guidelines 
advise that staff and guests do not need to wear a facemask.

The new ‘state of the art’ retreat centre is 3 times the size of the old centre, and there is so much space that we don’t wear masks.

We ask everybody to bring your own yoga mat. If you don’t have a yoga mat, you may buy one here for €25.

We also ask you to bring your own fleece blanket to put over you for the relaxation.

You may use our meditation cushions, blocks, cork bricks, straps, yoga chairs and bolsters while you are here. There is no sharing of these between people, and you may use them for your entire stay.

In Ireland, it is not mandatory to be vaccinated in order to book a hotel, guesthouse or yoga retreat. 

We are following these guidelines and it is not mandatory to be vaccinated in order to book one of our retreats.

Since Covid, strangers are not allowed to share bedrooms.

If you are booking by yourself, you must book a single bedroom, either an en-suite single or one of the budget single rooms.

We also have the option where you can book a large spacious super-king-sized bed just for yourself if you would treat yourself. 

In May 2022, most people are fine about sharing a car when going on the organised outings.

We recommend that you keep the windows open in the car.

Yes.  You must follow any guidelines about entering Ireland that are current at the time you arrive.

Please check Irish Government guidelines about travel into Ireland. 

Ensure that you have all the necessary paperwork and vaccinations that are required at the time that you plan to travel.

FFP3 facemasks 

Some experts recommend you wear a FFP3 facemask in the airport and also while onboard the plane.

Antigen tests

You must also take an antigen test the day before you commence your travel and email us the test result.

And another test when you arrive at the centre.

And sufficient antigen tests taken every 2nd day on the retreat.

Who our retreats are suitable for

Our retreats are suitable for complete beginners to advanced.

All ages (from 14 to 80), both men and women, all levels of fitness.
Absolutely. Our retreats are suitable for complete beginners.

We have very experienced and caring teachers who will explain everything very clearly, and give you practices which are suitable for you no matter what your level of fitness is.
Absolutely. Our teachers are very experienced and many also teach ‘yoga teacher training’.

We often have yoga teachers who attend our retreats, to learn from our gifted teachers and to deepen their own practice.

We get a wide range of ages (from 14 to 80) and also people from all walks of life.

The atmosphere here is warm, friendly and relaxed and everybody gels together very easily.

The atmosphere here is very warm and friendly and relaxed. You may attend which ever classes you prefer, and decide whether to attend any or all or some of the guided outings with the group.

If you prefer to explore the Burren by yourself, or to put your feet up and relax at the centre that is perfectly fine.

Our retreats are a great way to take time from your everyday life in a very positive environment.
Absolutely. That is fine to attend the retreat, and to skip some or even all of the classes.

It is also fine if you prefer to skip some or all of the organised outings or meals.

The atmosphere here is very warm and friendly and relaxed. You may attend which ever classes you prefer, and decide whether to attend any or all or some of the guided outings with the group.

Your partner is welcome to come on the guided outings with the group or to explore the Burren area by themselves if they prefer.

Yes.  You must adhere to any guidelines for entering Ireland (incuding vacinations and/or visa requirements) at that time. 

It would be best to email Dave, and let him know whether you have practiced yoga before, and also what things you can do, and also which things are not suitable for you to do.

We do have gentle yoga retreats which may be suitable. But we cannot answer this question until we know some more details.
Our retreats as well as the genuine retreat environment here are suitable for adults, or mature children over 14 years of age who are comfortable within an adult environment. 

Apologies, we cannot accommodate anybody under 14 years. 

It may be possible to stay in nearby accommodation and to attend the retreat here while your partner or friend looks after the younger children.

We do not have facilities suitable for dogs or pets.  We ask you to leave them at home or in a kennel facility.

Overview information of the retreat you have booked


The timetable (including arrival and departure times) for each day for any retreat can be seen by clicking on that partiular retreat in our Calendar of Retreats.

Almost all of our retreats start at 7:00 pm Friday evening with dinner.

We ask guests to arrive between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. If you need to arrive a little earlier, best to contact Dave to discuss arriving earlier.

It is fine to arrive later than 7:00 pm, but please do let us know so that we can keep dinner for you and also know your estimated time of arrival.

We have a ‘welcome and orientation meeting’ at 9:00 pm on the first night of a retreat, so it is recommended to arrive before 9:00 pm.
