Please be aware that Dublin airport is outside Dublin city.

It is best to take the bus direct from Dublin airport to Galway city, instead of travelling from the airport into Dublin city by bus, and then getting a taxi to the Dublin train station.

The trains in Ireland are quite slow compared to the bus, and they are not so frequent.

By bus is the easiest and fastest and cheapest

The easist way to get from Dublin airport to the centre is to take the bus direct from Dublin airport into Galway city, and then take a reduced fare taxi from Galway to the centre, or else a bus to Gort, and then a taxi from there.

CityLink is fast and has toilets on-board

The bus costs approx €18 from Dublin airport to Galway city.

Eir Coach also provide limited service from Dublin airport to Galway city.

By car gives you freedom and flexibility

Dublin airport is between 2.5 and 4 hours drive to the centre depending on the time of day or night that you travel and on traffic conditions.

It is approx 140 miles, motorway 90% of the way.

By train, need to go to Dublin city, is long and expensive

This is NOT advised.

From Dublin airport, you would need to a bus into Dublin city. And then a second bus to the train station. This could take between 1 and 2 hours.

The first train takes about 3 hours from Dublin to Athenry.

And a second train from Athenry to Gort.

And then a taxi for the last 6 miles.

There are very few trains per day to choose from compared to the bus which travels every hour.  The train is also more expensive than the bus.

From Galway city to Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre

There is a reduced taxi fare if you book with Tom about 24 hours before you arrive.
