Yoga for Menopause & Beyond

Niamh is an internationally renowned yoga teacher and trainer who created and specialises in Yoga for Menopause and Beyond.

She uses Yoga and wider researched elements to enhance our health and wellbeing through the stages of our lives, specific to how women’s bodies change through the years.

Her classes bring your body the positive challenges it needs to stay mobile and strong, yet also lead you in deeply gentle sessions that bring you back to respect and connection with your self.

Giving you safe and expert guidance, she also supports you to discover your individual body’s needs.

It this way, you can stay connected to, and respectful of your body’s changes.

When we learn to do this, we gain the trust of our body and nervous system, which allows us to flourish on all levels.

Niamh teaches with great respect for yoga and the human body, as well as with lightness and a sense of humour, so that her classes are enjoyable as well as relaxing and immersive.

Niamh's training & background

Niamh is a registered Senior Yoga Teacher and teacher trainer. She has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 2004. She is also a qualified Pilates instructor, Nutrition coach and Somatics coach.

In addition to running classes, workshops, and private sessions, she trains teachers worldwide.

Her book in Yoga for Menopause and Beyond was published worldwide in 2024, making her a globally recognised expert in that field.

The trainings she has created are in Yoga for Menopause and Beyond, Yoga for Bone Health and NeuroSoma Yoga.

Niamh trained in Hatha Yoga, and studied and practiced many of the variations of Yoga from its traditional roots in India, to new approaches with world-renowned teachers in Yoga, Somatics, Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Nutrition and more. She is particularly interested in using Yoga’s wide-ranging aspects to support the nervous system, muscle, bone, heart and brain health.

Niamh teaches from an evidence-based perspective, but also from the heart. You will learn tools that will help you move and live more freely. However, your needs will be prioritised over any class plan, and you will be offered ways to help your body and nervous system love what you do.
