To Kate, yoga is so much more than a physical practice- it’s a tool to get to know yourself and to really get in touch with what you need and want at every stage of life. Her wish is to share this practice, its transformative nature and its philosophy with as many people as possible.

Kate’s classes are designed to accommodate everybody whether you are a complete beginner or advanced.

While the classes are designed to create heat in the body and challenge you, modifications are always provided and personalised to your particular needs.

Expect classes to begin with pranayama (gentle yogic breathing), clear alignment cues fit for beginners up to experienced practitioners, and a space where you are guided to build awareness and free to explore your body and your mind.

You will leave class feeling more grounded and connected to yourself.

A meditation class is offered in the morning and evening each day, and one of the benefits of our retreats is that we empower and inspire you to continue some of these practices at home, bringing the benefits into your daily life.

Kate's training and background

Kate Dagher is from Canada originally and is a 500 hour trained yoga teacher.

She gives variations of postures so that you can choose whether to practice the more accessible versions or the more challenging practices.  Kate often uses props to help create more space in the body, and to help find more accessible variations of the postures.

For students who are comfortable, Kate gives hands on adjustments.

Kate trained originally in Colombia with Andrew Singer and Andrea Vasquez in 2019.

She also completed a Yin Yoga CPD training with Yoga Tree in Canada in 2020.

Kate undertook another 300 hour yoga teacher training with Soma Yoga Institute in Greece in 2024.  This brought Kate a deeper understanding and a deeper confidence in her teaching.

Kate has a daily meditation practice and will guide you on a simple breath focussed meditation with very clear explanation so that you will be able to practice yourself at home after the retreat.

She also teaches yoga nidra deep relaxation which brings you to a state almost between sleeping and waking.

Kate lives her life according to yoga principles and this is a big part of her life.
