On each retreat we have a host-guide who looks after all the guests while you are here and will lead the guided outing(s) into the Burren hills and by the sea and also organise the optional sea swimming.
Because we maintain smaller numbers of guests and include guided outings for the whole group, we find that people gel well together and many people make friends with like-minded people who they stay in contact with for many years to come.
Each year we run over 40 wellness retreats to choose from.
We run week-long retreats every week from mid May to the end of September. And also at New Year, the 1st week of January and at Easter.
It’s possible to book any 2 to 6 nights on our week-long retreats.
This means that that we offer you many more dates to choose from, while other retreat centres mainly hire out their venue to groups from abroad.
We have a wide variety of bedrooms including en-suite bedrooms and also budget friendly options.
Our en-suite bedrooms are very spacious and larger than most other retreat centres.
These spacious light filled en-suite bedrooms are specially designed to provide the deepest most restorative sleep.
Under-floor heating, sound proofed for the best sleep, picture frame windows, freshly ironed Egyptian cotton bedlinen, hotel quality mattresses, electric black out blinds, spacious powerful showers.
A wide range of en-suite bedroom types including singles, twins, super king sized doubles.
We also have simpler more affordable budget bedrooms that have a bathroom shared with others.
These also have the same high quality hotel mattresses and freshly ironed Egyptian cotton bedlinen.
We have a women’s shared dorm with bunk beds, and in 2025 the price for these start at €490 for a full weekend retreat, whereas an en-suite single bedroom costs €700 which is also lower than many other retreat centres.

Since 1999, we have been welcoming guests to the Burren Yoga Retreat, long before other retreat centres in Ireland began their journey.
While a moher retreat in Liscannor is a popular choice, our philosophy at the Burren Yoga Retreat is centred on “intimacy, quality and choice.” While other venues, such as the cliffs of moher retreat, often cater to larger groups of up to 28 people, we purposely limit our retreats to a maximum of 18 guests.
