Quality Hatha flow and yin yoga weekend and meditation

Grainne teaches both Yoga flow, and also Yin yoga.  In her yoga flow classes  one’s focus is maintained on the breath, and coordinating the breath with the flowing movements.  Grainne’s Yin yoga is more relaxing and restorative.

There is a meditation class in the morning and evening each day, and one of the benefits of our week-long retreats is that you can then take these practices home with you.

The Burren Yoga Retreat is located at the foot of the Burren hills nestled amongst the hazel trees.

You are surrounded with a vast choice of special places in the Burren where we go for hill walks, Nature Trail walks, walks by the sea, beautiful beaches and forests to explore.

There are lovely places to swim in the sea or in our nearby lake which heats up during the summer.

All our classes, outings and meals are optional, so you are free to join all or some as you please during the weekend.

However over 95% of people relish the freedom of not having to decide or choose what to do each day, and go with the full programme which is a well tried recipe which we have been running and improving on since 1999.

We are famous for our food and so many people have said they would come back time and time again just for the amazing vegetarian food.  Our chef will prepare all our vegetarian meals with organic and locally sourced vegetables and the finest ingredients.

Grainne will give more gentle variations to anybody who needs it, and will also challenge those who are ready for it.

Yoga teacher Grainne O Malley

Grainne teaches a flow yoga class and also Yin yoga. She has lovely soft energies and uses humour and love to bring you to an inner space of peace and acceptance

She is a very positive minded teacher with a very supportive and caring way about her.

Grainne has always found reward in helping people, making them feel comfortable and attending to their needs.

She has been teaching yoga for over 12 years, and acknowledges “every body” is so different, and she guides each person to their own level of ability.
