June Bank Holiday retreat.

Attended between 2 and 6 nights on our retreat that begins Friday 31st May.

The Burren is in full bloom, and it is a beautiful time of year to see the wild flowers.

Our week-long retreats are by far the best experience, and many people say they do not want to leave at the end of the week.

Each day we will see a different special location in The Burren on our guided outings.

Many people are amazed at this magical part of Ireland, and are very surprised at the wide variety of types of landscapes that are in The Burren.

And many lovely beaches and swimming spots for invigorating swims in the sea or our local lake.

Grainne O’Malley will be teaching this week’s retreat.

Grainne teaches both Yoga flow, and also Yin yoga. In her yoga flow classes one’s focus is maintained on the breath, and coordinating the breath with the flowing movements. Grainne’s Yin yoga is more relaxing and restorative on this yoga flow and yin yoga retreat.

There is a lovely variety of classes on this June bank holiday yoga retreat with flow yoga and yin yoga classes as well as meditation and yoga nidra deep relaxation.

The ancient and tranquil feeling has to be experienced in order to know.

I am always amazed at how many Irish people have not been to The Burren yet.

It was awarded Geopark status by UNESCO.

Many people describe it as being like a lunar landscape.

What better place to step into… to leave all your cares and worries behind…

If we rush through life we usually miss it.

But if we can slow down… and look around us.

Really look around us.

And really slow down….

There is beauty everywhere.

All around us… within us… within every being … and every thing.

We just need to learn… and remind ourselves to dis-engage from the rushing…

Disengage from the constant striving and stress.

The new luxury retreat centre which was built in 2020 / 2021 was designed to the highest specifications, and built to the highest standards with a very high end finish to every aspect of the retreat centre.

The same careful attention to detail goes into choosing the best staff to work at the retreat centre.

Many people pay lovely compliments on our wonderful staff who will ensure that your stay is a lovely warm friendly relaxing experience.

Dave hand picks our exceptional yoga and meditation teachers… who live the life of yoga as well as being highly trained with many years of teaching experience.

And the location of the Burren is beautiful and almost as if it was specially formed over millions of years to be the most ideal location for a retreat.

We go to many different locations on our guided outings on our week-long retreats.

Hatha flow and Yin yoga weekend 17th – 19th May with Aoife Ni Mhurchu

In Aoife’s Hatha flow classes one’s focus is maintained on the breath, and coordinating the breath with the flowing movements. Aoife’s Yin yoga is more relaxing and restorative.
Aoife is a wonderful teacher whose passion for passing on the beautiful values and skills of yoga to her students is so evident in every class.
She is a natural teacher and her warm and caring personality makes going to classes with her a real treat.
Sequences will flow from simple to more energetic – this class will tone, strengthen and increase flexibility.

On our guided outing you will see many wild flowers which are abundant at this time of year.

Spring Gentians, Early Purple Orchids, Mountain Avens to mention just a few.

After our hill walk, we will visit one of the local restaurants for lunch so you will get a chance to sample the finest local cuisine.

And of course our optional sea swim in the afternoon, followed by a lovely restorative Yin yoga class.
And then dinner as usual with our amazing chef Claire who will prepare another vegetarian feast to satisfy you on all levels.

Meet like minded people, on this very enjoyable weekend.
