Very often it is more expensive to fly on a Friday or a Sunday.
It can be much cheaper to fly on the Thursday and stay at the centre on Thursday evening, or stay on an extra night on Sunday evening and fly out Monday.
Cost for extra night
Cost is €70 per night and does not include food. However, there are usually cereals, bread and spreads that you may use in the kitchen.
Nearest cafe or restaurant
The centre is in a very beautiful loaction at the foot of the Burren hills and the nearest village Kinvara is 5 miles away. Gort is 6 miles away.
Kinvara has
- Pier Head which is a very good restaurant
- Keoghe’s pub which has very good standard food served in the pub which also has a separate dining area
- Ishka cafe
- Other cafes
Gort has
- a Chinese restaurant
- The Gallery cafe which is excellent has good vegetarian options
- Fast food places and pub grub
New Quay (8 miles) has
- Linnane’s Lobster Bar which has excellent seafood
Availability
This depends on whether there is space available in the centre for you to stay that extra night.
It also depends on whether we will be here ourselves on that extra night either before or after the course.
Often we won’t know this until a few days before you arrive.
However, if the case does arise, there are B&B’s in Kinvara village which is only 5 miles away.
Eligibility of booking an extra night
This option is only available to people who have signed up for the full retreat. It is not an option if you are only staying part of a week-long course.
